Re-opening of St. Andrew's Church

THE RE-OPENING OF ST ANDREW’S CHURCH

The PCC wishes to let the village community know that St Andrew’s Church will open for private prayer and meditation from Tuesday 23rd June 2020.

For the time being, in accordance with HM Government’s and the Church of England’s Covid-19 policies, the church will be open on Tuesday and Friday every week between the hours of 10.00 am and 4.00 pm.

This will necessitate all visitors complying with some very simple and sensible ‘rules’ so that everyone is safe. There will be notices in the church porch and in the church itself advising visitors about what to do.

Certain areas of the church will not be accessible, including the tower, the new extension including the wc, and the Chancel and Sanctuary.

The PCC very much hopes that the church will be able to be open more frequently in the near future.
